Lounging by the pool or floating on a raft are great. But … what do you look at? These Gladstone, Missouri, homeowners had a beautiful pool area and patio but knew that something was missing. They contacted Good Earth Water Gardens to transform the recessed hill behind their home. The results are spectacular!

Hillside waterfall installation

Utilizing the existing shrubs and landscaping, Good Earth Water Gardens designed a striking pondless waterfall to anchor the space and act as a focal point for the entire yard. We started this project planning for one stream, but quickly realized that the terrain was ideal for a split stream with two waterfalls. After conferring with the homeowners, we went for it. We started with the usual excavation and reservoir installation. Then, it was time to carefully construct the waterfalls. Check out how this beauty came together. This hillside view definitely got an upgrade. Now, the homeowners and their guests can enjoy the relaxing sights and sounds of splashing water from several vantage points both inside and outside of the home. The addition of a water feature has transformed not only the physical spaces, but how people use and engage with them. The overall effect is one of beauty and tranquility.
