Project showcase: A pondless waterfall for the birds

We recently worked with a North Kansas City bird lover to create a water feature to attract her fowl friends. Although this client had a small statuary fountain before, it was poorly made and high-maintenance.

That’s why Good Earth Water Gardens proposed a pondless waterfall and stacked slate urn fountain. Take a look.

The great thing about this feature is that it can run all year long. Dehydration is actually the leading cause of death for birds in the winter, but keeping running water available will help protect them.

The homeowner is thrilled with the beautiful water feature. It’s already attracting many birds, and the lighting around the fountain means everyone can enjoy it day and night.
