The great thing about water features is that you can design one to fit in almost any space. At [Good Earth Water Gardens](https://www.goodearthwatergardens.com/), we’ve crafted many pondless waterfalls in petite yards. But sometimes, we get to go big.

## A natural-looking pondless waterfall

We recently [designed and installed a pondless waterfall](https://www.goodearthwatergardens.com/koi-pond-water-feature-installation) in a gloriously huge backyard in Basehor, Kansas. Our team had the freedom to carefully consider the nuances of the landscape and the sightlines from the house. The homeowners knew they’d be enjoying the water feature primarily from their deck. So, we designed spillways and rock outcroppings that would provide the maximum affect from that vantage point.

Check out how we turned a lovely grassy area into a pondless waterfall that looks like it’s always been there. A stacked slate urn adds special interest. And the entire transformation only took a few days. Even though Kevin isn’t the smoothest spokesmodel, we love this video. We can’t hide the joy and pride we take in our work.

## Create a water feature that’s perfect for your space
